Yoga er det, som alle taler om. Du kan efterh\u00e5nden n\u00e6sten ikke m\u00f8de en ung kvinde, som ikke enten har pr\u00f8vet yoga eller g\u00e5r til det regelm\u00e6ssigt. Derudover er flere og flere m\u00e6nd ydermere begyndt at komme med p\u00e5 b\u00e6lgen. Men hvad er det egentlig, som alt hypen er omkring?<\/p>\n

For hvad er yoga<\/a> egentlig? Er det en sport? Er det en form for udstr\u00e6kning? Er det meditation? Er det terapi. Dem som har dyrket det l\u00e6nge og ved noget om det vil nok sige begge dele. Dem som g\u00e5r til yoga for deres egen forn\u00f8jelses skyld vil nok sige noget forskelligt, helt afh\u00e6ngigt af personen.<\/p>\n

For yoga kan v\u00e6re rigtig mange forskellige ting. Hvad det er for dig, afh\u00e6nger helt af dine egne vaner. Det afh\u00e6nger dog ogs\u00e5 af den type af yoga, som du v\u00e6lger at g\u00e5 til. Der findes nemlig forskellige former, og dine egne pr\u00e6ferencer kan du kun opdage, ved selv at kaste dig over aktiviteten.<\/p>\n

Nogle popul\u00e6re yogatyper<\/h2>\n

Rundt omkring i de forskellige fitnesscentre landet over finder du typisk to typer af yoga. Der er flow \u2013 eller vinyasa \u2013 som er en hurtigere og mere dynamisk form for yoga. Her skifter du hurtigt fra stilling til stilling, og det handler om at bev\u00e6ge sig i serier og f\u00e5 pulsen op. Typisk arbejder man med at tilpasse vejrtr\u00e6kningen skifter mellem de forskellige stillinger.<\/p>\n

Hatha-yoga er derimod en yogaform, som i h\u00f8jere grad handler om fordybelse og str\u00e6k. Her bliver man l\u00e6nge i hver position, og det handler om udholdenhed og at arbejde med kroppens ydeevne. M\u00e5let med hatha er for det meste at blive mere smidig.<\/p>\n

Bev\u00e6ger man sig ind i de rigtige yogastudier vil man selvf\u00f8lgelig m\u00f8de et langt st\u00f8rre udvalg af forskellige typer af yoga. Her kan det g\u00e5 endnu hurtigere, endnu langsommere, blive mere akrobatisk eller mere meditativt. Du kan ogs\u00e5 g\u00e5 til hot yoga, hvor lokalet varmes op til over 40 grader.<\/p>\n

Yoga hj\u00e6lper med fordybelse<\/h2>\n

Yoga er en del af de mange popul\u00e6re former for afsp\u00e6nding og behandlinger, som kommer fra \u00f8sten og asien. Derfor er det ogs\u00e5 ganske naturligt, at yoga indeholder en stor del af meditation og fordybelse. Rigtig mange instrukt\u00f8rer starter med at chante og slutter med at afsp\u00e6nde.<\/p>\n

Ofte spilles der ogs\u00e5 afslappende og meditativ under sessionen. I nogle tilf\u00e6lde er det chants eller hymner, andre gange blid klavermusik eller blot naturlyde og klang fra klokker. Dette er med til at skabe et rum, hvor man kan finde fokus og virkelig m\u00e6rke krop og sind.<\/p>\n

\u00d8nsker du ikke at dyrke yoga for den fysiske aktivitet skyld, s\u00e5 er det v\u00e6rd at overveje sporten p\u00e5 grund af den mulighed for fordybelse, som den giver dig. Yoga kan s\u00e5ledes v\u00e6re et supplement eller et alternativ til meditation eller mindfullness.<\/p>\n

Det skal du bruge for at dyrke yoga<\/h2>\n

Det kr\u00e6ver meget lidt at begynde til yoga. Faktisk skal du bare m\u00f8de op i behageligt t\u00f8j, som du har det godt i. Mange af dem, som dyrker yoga p\u00e5 regelm\u00e6ssig basis, har deres egen yogam\u00e5tte. Dette skyldes at det er mere hygiejnisk, og at mange mener, at m\u00e5tten indeholder en bestemt energi.<\/p>\n

Men det er p\u00e5 ingen m\u00e5de et krav, at du skal have egen m\u00e5tte med. Langt de fleste centre og studier tilbyder m\u00e5tter, t\u00e6pper og andet udstyr til l\u00e5ns.<\/p>\n

Fordi yoga er opbygget i blokke med stillesiddende \u00f8velser og fysisk udfoldelse, er det en god id\u00e9 at have flere lag af t\u00f8j med. En varm sweater og sokker kan du tage af efter introen og tage p\u00e5 igen, n\u00e5r det er tid til afsp\u00e6nding.<\/p>\n\n
